Welcome! The purpose of this Web site is to bring together a comprehensive list of resources linked to the content of the program of study in the Instructional Technology & Distance Education (ITDE) doctoral program at Nova Southeastern University.

These resources reflect both my personal and professional interests. While the items related to instructional design, distance education, leadership, instructional media, and research & evaluation clearly link to study areas in the ITDE program, other resources connect to my personal and professional interests.

The page devoted to learning theory resources originated with a course that I taught in this area -- I have found that these are resources that transcend specific coursework. As the Director of Emerging Technologies for the Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services, I am often called upon to speak about emerging instructional technologies -- my role as the "gadget girl" has led me to craft this listing of resources that continually changes as we endeavor to "keep up" with current and emerging technologies. Finally, the links in regard to educational computing, Web publishing, search engines and online libraries reflect my personal interests in fostering the use of technology for instruction, communication and recreation. Finally, I also provide a list of sites related to evaluating resources: this reflects the importance of examining the creditibility, authority, currency and accuracy (among other measures) of online resources.

I hope you find these resources useful and I welcome your assistance by letting me know of links that need updating and/or by providing additional resources that can supplement what is here. Thank you -- and as I so often say: onward!
