We begin on a lazy afternoon by the river.  You, of course, are Alice.  Alice, you are about to take the trip of a lifetime!  You owe it all to a panicky white rabbit with a timepiece.  "I'm late! I'm late!," you hear him cry.  Now when he rushes past you, you can't help but to follow him into to his rabbit hole.

Principle 1 states that the participant should be immersed into the story,  be able to direct the protagonist and therefore direct story line, and be able to interact with other characters.  This is being done by having you assume the role of Alice.
