With Ford's mass-production techniques, this would eventually allow for the manufacture of a Model T every 24 seconds. His innovations made him an international celebrity. In 1910, more and more people are now familiar with the Model T, and enable to meet the growing demand for the Model T, the company opened a large factory at Highland Park, Michigan, this factory is basically managed to work on the following; precision manufacturing, standardized and interchangeable parts, a division of labor, and, in 1913, the idea of a continuous moving assembly line was established. This idea was basically about workers with delivery of parts by conveyor belt and ready to do their job, and was carefully timed to keep the assembly line moving smoothly and efficiently. The idea was to revolutionize automobile production by reducing assembly time per vehicle, therefore lowering costs.
